Persefone Necklace

Sale price€175,00

The "Persefone" necklace is inspired by the myth of the goddess and her cycle of descent to and return from the underworld.

At its center, a pomegranate holds six arils, symbolizing the time spent in darkness and the promise of rebirth. A journey through the seasons: from autumn and winter, when Persefone rules the underworld, to her return to Earth, which blossoms with her.

A balance between absence and presence, between shadow and light.

Artistic and literary inspiration

The figure of Persefone pervades myth as a symbol of cyclicality and transformation.

Divided between two worlds, she spends part of the year in darkness and part in light, giving rise to the rhythm of the seasons.

The visual inspiration comes from the painting by the Pre-Raphaelite Dante Gabriel Rossetti, which evokes the goddess suspended in this passage, held between what is and what returns.

As in the words of Albert Camus:

“In the midst of winter,
I discovered that there was within me
a invincible summer.”
