a journey into our atelier

Genesis

Fiori di Mandorlo is a world that lives for art in all its forms.

Each creation is born from the encounter between art, music, and poetry, transforming inspiration into wearable forms.

Not just an aesthetic vision, but forms through which to express oneself, recognize oneself, and view the world from different perspectives.

From concept to creation

Once conceived, a piece of jewellery takes shape thanks to the skilled hands of goldsmith artisans.

Each creation is born from a journey of precise stages: design, casting, finishing, setting.

Like a work of art coming to life.

Only at the end does the true jewel emerge: conceived, designed, and entirely made in Italy.

the start

Fiori di Mandorlo is a jewellery brand founded in 2016 by Claudia Braccio. It didn't start as a conscious project, but as a natural urge to express herself.

Over time, that urge turned into a real job.

It all began during university, while studying for a degree in International Relations, and from one particular exam.

A book in which law was observed through the lens of art: two seemingly distant realities that met through perspective.

anamorphosis

It was there that I discovered anamorphosis (from the Greek ἀναμόρφωσις), an optical illusion where an image appears heavily distorted, but becomes understandable when viewed from a specific viewpoint. Observing Hans Holbein the Younger's painting "The Ambassadors", a seemingly incomprehensible smudge at the bottom of the work reveals itself to be a skull when viewed from another angle.

A crucial lesson:

learning to look at things from different perspectives.

the discovery

Later, during a trip to London, a visit to the National Gallery and seeing the painting "The Ambassadors" in person were decisive.

The distance between study and reality disappeared, making way for a clear realization:

to live in, for and with art.

the transformation

The Fiori di Mandorlo project slowly took shape. First as a hobby, then as a full-fledged job.

The first orders and collections arrived. Alongside figurative art, literature, poetry, music, and the study of metals and stones also became part of the project.

It was then that the discovery was made, almost by chance, that Holbein himself designed jewellery.

From there, the Fiori di Mandorlo universe began to take shape.

itaca is born

After much time and study, my first entirely self-designed collection was born: Itaca.

The offspring of the desire to create through art and the courage to embark on this new journey.

Fiori di Mandorlo

Each Fiori di Mandorlo jewel is not merely a form, but a vision, an idea. An invitation to always look from different perspectives.
