Venere ring

Sale price€169,00

From the waves of the sea, evoked by the ring's shank, "Venus" is born.

A pearl collects light inside a shell, whose forms recall the imagery of the birth of Venus.

A symbol of origin, transformation, and return.

To be reborn again, and again, and again.

Size Guide

Before proceeding with measuring your finger, here are a few tips. Keep in mind that fingers on the right hand are different from those on the left, and measurements may differ with the change of seasons (hands tend to swell more in warmer weather). Also, the ring style affects the size; for band rings, we suggest going up one size.

For accurate measurement, we recommend purchasing a ring sizer (several are available on Amazon) or, alternatively, visiting any jewellery store.
If you are unable to proceed as indicated, we recommend the following method:

Take one of your rings and a ruler.
Place the ring on the ruler, making sure to center the diameter.
( CAUTION: consider the INTERNAL DIAMETER of the ring and start measuring from the widest point of the circumference).
Take the measurement and compare it with the following sizes:

4: 14 mm

6: 14,64 mm

8: 15,28 mm

10: 15,92 mm

12: 16,56 mm

14: 17,19 mm

16: 17,83 mm

18: 18,47 mm

20: 19,10 mm

Artistic and literary inspiration

The Birth of Venus spans the history of art as an image of origin and transformation.

In Sandro Botticelli's iconography, the figure emerges from the sea suspended between water and light, in a fragile and perfect balance.

“Venus” is born from this imagery: from what takes shape, re-emerges and returns.

As in the journey narrated in Alfred Tennyson's famous poem:

“Come, my friends,
It is not too late to seek a newer world.
Pull out, and sitting well in order strike
The sonorous furrows; for my aim is
To sail beyond the sunset, and bathe
With all the western stars, till I die.”
